Artisan is non-custodial. You hold your own funds and we never take custody of them. Where regulated money movement requires it, licensed partners handle that leg under their own licenses.

• Adults in the United States can open an account. Identity verification is required before you can move money between Artisan and a US bank account, or pay a bill.
• Artisan is not a bank. Balances are not bank deposits and are not FDIC insured.
• Card spend on the Artisan virtual card costs the member nothing.
• Adding money from a US bank costs 0.40%.
• Cashing out to a US bank costs 0.50%.

Artisan is in a closed beta in the United States. Access is by invite or access code.
