This notice explains what happens to the email address you share to join the Artisan waitlist. Artisan is a pre-launch product; right now the only personal data we collect is what you enter on our sign-up form.
Who we are
Artisan operates artisan.cash and is the controller of the data described here. Questions or requests: privacy@artisan.cash.
What we collect and why
If you join the waitlist we collect your email address and the date and time you signed up. We use it for one purpose: to send you product updates and launch news about Artisan. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing from any email or emailing us — withdrawing does not affect processing done before you withdrew.
Who we share it with
We share your email only with the service providers that run our infrastructure — our database/hosting provider and our email-delivery provider — who process it on our behalf under contract. We never sell it.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored and processed in the United States. If you are in the EEA/UK, note that US data-protection law differs from yours; our providers offer standard contractual protections for this.
How long we keep it
Until we launch or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first — then we delete your waitlist entry.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent. Email privacy@artisan.cash and we will act within one month. If you are in the EEA/UK you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
The site uses a single strictly-necessary cookie (site_gate) that remembers you entered the preview password so you are not asked again. It is not used for tracking or analytics, so no cookie banner is needed.
