Spritz Finance alternative for crypto bill pay
Spritz still lets US consumers pay bills with crypto: its own pages, read on 7 October 2026, show a consumer app, bill pay for US users, and a status page that lists bill pay as operational. Artisan Cash is another way to pay a bill, from a USDC balance in the app, with the biller paid in US dollars.
Does Spritz still let consumers pay bills?
Yes, the Spritz Individual page offers paying real bills straight from your wallet, with more than 6,000 billers and mortgage, card and tuition bills listed, and a Spritz blog post dated 19 June 2026 says bill pay covers mortgages, auto loans, student loans, utilities and credit cards, for US users only. The Spritz status page showed bill pay for US users as operational when it was read on 7 October 2026.
Why does the Spritz home page look like it is for companies?
The Spritz home page now leads with Rails, a payments product for companies, and it has a Business tab and an Individual tab, with the consumer pages under Individual and a footer link to the consumer app. The Spritz Rails page for bill pay also says that it is available to US users only, which matches what the consumer pages say.
What restrictions does Spritz state for bill pay?
Spritz states two restrictions: bill pay is for US users only, and a Spritz help page last updated on 26 July 2023 says it cannot support a billing account that does not share a name with your Spritz account. Spritz also says that you add a bill by searching for the name of your biller and then entering your account number.
Where and with what can you pay on each?
- Where. Spritz offers bill pay to US users, while Artisan is for people in the US, by invite while it grows.
- Pay with. A Spritz help page updated on 27 May 2026 lists US bill pay on networks including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Solana and Bitcoin, paid from your own wallet, while Artisan pays from USDC and converts other stablecoins such as USDT, USDT0 and DAI at 0.02% and other tokens at 0.4%.
- Billers. Spritz counts more than 6,000 billers and Artisan counts more than 100,000 billers, and each company lets you search for your biller by name.
How is a bill paid, and how long does it take?

- Spritz time. A Spritz help page last updated on 15 September 2022 says a payment may take a couple of days to post and suggests scheduling it at least four business days before the due date.
- Artisan time. The receipt in the app says the payment usually arrives within 2 days.
What does Spritz charge for a bill?
Spritz publishes its fees on its fee page, last updated on 5 August 2026. The page sets a base fee, an added fee for a bill payment and a minimum, and adjusts for some tokens, networks and larger amounts, so you can work out your own bill there.
What does Artisan charge for a bill?
On a $725 bill, the processing fee is 2% of $725, which is $14.50, plus $2.50, so $17.00, and the Artisan fee is 0.5% of $725, which is $3.625 and rounds to $3.63. The two come to $20.63, so $745.63 leaves your balance on the $725 bill before any network fee. Each fee shows on its own line on the review screen before you approve, and that screen is the final word.
How do you pay a bill with Artisan?
You pay in five steps, all inside the app.
- First. Open Move and choose Pay a bill.
- Second. Pick your biller from the list as you type its name.
- Third. Enter the account number and the amount. The smallest bill is $20.
- Fourth. Add your name and address as they appear on the bill, and your US phone number.
- Fifth. Review the payment, then approve it.

When does Spritz fit, and when does Artisan?
Spritz is the closer fit if you want to pay from your own wallet and keep tokens such as Bitcoin, or if you also want to buy crypto or cash out to a bank in the same app, since its Individual page lists both, while Artisan is the closer fit if you hold USDC and want to pay a bill from a balance in the app. Both companies publish their fees, so the numbers for your own bill can be worked out from their pages before you decide.
