Leaving is something you do yourself, in the app, at any hour. There is no request to file and nobody to ask.
The way that always works
The wallet is yours, so you can send what is in it to any address you control. That path does not depend on Artisan being available, being solvent, or agreeing with you about anything. It is what self-custody is for, and it is the reason the responsibility that comes with it is worth carrying.
Out to a bank account in your name
You can also cash out to a US bank account you own, from Send in the app. That leg runs on bank rails through a licensed partner, so it keeps bank hours rather than blockchain ones.
Three things to get right first
- Send a small amount before a large one. A transfer on a public network cannot be undone, recalled or charged back, and an address with one wrong character is somebody else.
- Check the network, not just the address. The same address can exist on more than one network, and money sent on the wrong one does not arrive.
- Leave something behind for the fee. Moving money on a public network costs a network fee, and it comes out of your balance.
