Can I pay Con Edison with USDC?
Yes, with Artisan. Artisan’s biller list, read on 2026-10-12, has Con Edison as Consolidated Edison Co.of NY, and it is only the biller being paid. The list changes, and the biller decides whether to accept each payment. Two sections below say what you see if it does not.
What do I type to find Con Edison?
Tap Biller and type Con Ed. Consolidated Edison Co.of NY comes first, spelled that way on the list, with no space after Co. The sheet shows only that row, with a link to show all the matches. ConEd and Coned find it too, and Consolidated Edison finds only that row.
Typing Con Edison lists Con Edison Solutions first, which is a separate biller on the list. Pick the row named Consolidated Edison Co.of NY.
How do I pay it in the app?

- Pick the biller. Tap Biller, type Con Ed and pick Consolidated Edison Co.of NY.
- Enter the account number. The box says Account number and as it shows on your bill.
- Enter the amount. Type it under Amount to pay. A bill has to be at least $20.
- Check your details. Your name and address come from your one Artisan verification, shown as Name and address on the bill. Tap that row to change them. The app asks only for what is missing, such as a US mobile number.
- Review, then approve. Tap Review the payment, then Approve the payment.

What does the review screen show?
The review is titled Pay, then the name of the Con Edison row. It lists the account, shown as its last four digits, then the bill, the processing fee, the Artisan fee and the total. A network fee gets its own line only when there is one. The last line says usually within 2 days, so a bill paid on its due date can arrive after it.
What does Con Edison say about how to pay?
Con Edison’s payment options page, read on 2026-10-12, lists online payment with a bank account or a credit or debit card, its app, phone, mail and authorized agents. Crypto is not on that list. What if Con Edison does not accept the payment?
If the biller cannot match a detail, most often the account number, the screen says The biller did not accept this payment and that your money is safe and waiting. After three numbers that are not taken, the receipt points you to Message support.
What do I get back if the payment is sent back?
If the payment is sent back instead of fixed, Activity reads Not completed. An email called Payment not completed says the money you sent for it was returned to your wallet. Artisan’s fee is not part of that return.
What if my money is already in a bank account?
Then nothing needs converting, and this page does not apply to you. Artisan is for money that sits in USDC, where the usual route is to sell it, wait for a bank transfer and then pay.
